Letter from a Bunna Man: Letter # 5 Part 1

To whom it may concern,

It has been approximately two months since my near robbery and recovery and I have taken that time to invest in self-discovery. You will be pleased to know that I am focusing more on myself and I have developed a new hobby. I have also recently begun to engaged in stimulating and meaningful conversations with my new friend Bobbie.

Do you remember Nurse Watson? She is my new friend. Bobbie is short for Bobbette. I made it clear that I wasn't interested in anything sexual or relationship wise and friendship is all that she will get. She agreed and reassured me that she is not looking for anything romantic and that we should indeed keep our relationship strictly platonic.

We hang out a few times on the weekend, either at her place or mine.  I found it rather refreshing to have a female friend that is funny, thoughtful and kind. She is more than a great nurse; she is also a great cook. She has layers to her personality, she even introduces me to a few amazing books. One of the books was about building simple furniture, as my new hobby was building study desks. She gave me another one about becoming your own chef.

Anyway, one Saturday morning, I ran into a female classmate/ friend of mine who I went to university with. I ran into her at the hardware store while I was trying to purchase some lumber. We talked and laughed a bit, then we took each other's number. We set a date to hang out the following Saturday to catch up and reminisce on our old college days. As she walked away, I was amazed at how little she has changed.

During that week, my old classmate Sasha, and I have been talking and texting via WhatsApp. I forgot how funny and corny she was; I was laughing a lot. Bobbie was curious to know who I was talking to all the time, and I told her it’s just an old friend of mine. She asked if I wanted to hang out this weekend and I told her, I won’t be able to as I had already made plans with a friend.  She said I hope you 'guys' have a great time, inferring that it was a male, so I corrected her and told her that it was a female.
